TransferGo, becomes the first remittance operator to offer crypto trading on its platform as it now allows major trading in Five cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin(BTC), Ethereum(ETH), Ripple(XRP), BitcoinCash(BCH) and Litecoin(LTC).
Daumantas Dvilinskas, CEO of TransferGo said in an interview that the action was in response to demand from their users base.
The platform has over 4,000 users signing up every hour, this increases the strong demand for crypto trading on the TransferGo platform. Currently, the platform has over 600,000 registered users and is in partnership with 30 banks.
Remittance is simply defined as an act of transmitting money, bills e.t.c to a distant place, in return or payment of goods purchased. Remittance flows into a developing countries reached it’s maximum of $466 billion in the year 2017.
The CEO of MasterCard, Ajaypal Banga, recently called the decentralized crypto industries as “Junk” claiming they do not solve any real-life problems.
