Tim Draper, one among the largest investors in the crypto world widely known for the positive predictions of his, to the crypto community that normally come to pass, has once again predicted the crypto industry to reach a Market Cap of $80 Trillion in next 15 years.
The venture capital investor was caught speaking at the DealStreetAsia PE-VC Summit 2018 in Singapore, where he argued that the reason why the market capitalization has not gotten to that extent in this recent months is because mass adoption have not yet been realised saying that once people begin to understand how the technology works, then we would see a breath-taking growth in the industry.
In his speech, one can clearly depict what exactly Tim is talking about:
I think it’s going to have such a transformative effect on industries that we never even imagined would be transformable. The internet went after industries that were $10–100 billion dollar markets, cryptocurrency will go after trillion dollar markets, these are finance, healthcare and insurance, banking and investment banking, and governments.
In an additional statement, Draper compared the current situation in the crypto market to that of the internet, in its early stage, saying:
The internet started in the same way, it came in big waves and then it kind of came crashing down, and then the next wave comes concentrated but much bigger, and I suspect the same thing will go on here (with Bitcoin).
Like I said from the beginning of this write-up, Tim Draper’s predictions is always a positive one and luckily for all his predictions mostly come to pass. This should stand as a motivator to all the investors, speculators and crypto enthusiasts out there. Telling them to keep doing what they know how to do best so we can achieve those great heights we have been expecting to see in few years to come. Fact holds it that the technology has already been launched, nothing, I repeat, nothing is going to make it stop.
