One of the major travel booking site, expedia.com silently removes Bitcoin from its payment option (hotel or flight bookings). Without making it official, they took their decision, leaving its patronizers confused like never before.
An EXPEDIA spokesperson confirmed that their services are no longer available for crypto, that is most definitely because of the unstabilized nature of crypto. The spokesman said: The option was removed on the 10th of June 2018, without the consent of its patronizers.
However, the firm apologized for any inconvenience it may have caused it’s patronizers. There was no comment found anywhere on social media or on its website regarding the removal of Bitcoin as an option of payment.
The patronizers were highly dissappointed with this decision, most of them decided to resort to other alternatives such as CheapAir travel service as they are still accepting payments in Bitcoin.
