The move to add BCH on Bittrex’s USD fiat market platform was first announced on Sept 27th and was later implemented on Oct 4th, thereby, making it the latest in a series of major exchanges to list the cryptocurrency in recent weeks.
Bittrex, which is the 13th largest crypto exchange in terms of trading volume, was founded in 2013. The exchange is famous for being one of the most secure exchanges of its kind. That’s the reason it appeals to investors who are looking for a cost-effective and secure cryptocurrency for USD.
Crypto exchange Bittrex before listing BCH on its platform, recently also added Tron (TRX) and Litecoin (LTC) paired with USD to its platform. The exchange also notified at the time of adding TRX, it is the first USD market for TRX to be available in the U.S.
It further clarified that the purpose behind launching diverse USD markets for cryptocurrencies is to avoid a particular cryptocurrency from holding dominance in the market. The exchange platform also listed other big coins for trading such as Zcash (ZEC) and Cardano (ADA).
