A saying goes that “A Leopard can never change it’s spot”. This seems to be the case of Bitcoin.com’s CEO Roger Ver who has once again resumed the shady tactic of trying to trick unsuspecting visitors Into buying Bitcoin Cash via means of misleading ticker names again. The website labelled Bitcoin (BTC) as ‘Bitcoin Core’ a name ascribed to a different fork of Bitcoin.
Bitcoin OG Moneytrigz was having none of it and took to twitter to call out the website for their unethnical behavior.
this is the true reason @CoinMarketCap always censored $btcc meanwhile all other platforms listed it, @rogerkver wants to continue his rebrand attack on bitcoin with influence of his controlled platforms, https://t.co/mDvyqsqSmy

Other twitter users voiced their displeasure.
Its is despair and agony loosing everything in a egocentric megalomaniac war
Their should be justice to this "recommended" FRAUD— João Paulo Gomes (#NOBCASH) (@BTCtradePt) November 23, 2018

He's got to trick ppl to buying #Bcash thinking it's #bitcoin… Just to keep it from utter collapse.
Think how much money they've been burning trying to do some odd "Hash war" of completely separate chains.
It'd be like Monero and Litecoin having a hashwar. Makes No sense.— Lightning Master Hub ⚡ [BTC LTC] (@LN_Master_Hub) November 24, 2018
IMPORTANT: Warn your friends and #Bitcoin beginners to never to use any products or services on bitcoin(.)com. There’s a high risk of accidentally buying the BCH or BAB altcoins because their content and marketing is based on creating confusion with the real Bitcoin. ⚠️⚠️⚠️ https://t.co/8UFLDq0009

Roger Ver had previously used this dishonest marketing. It was the threat of a lawsuit that forced him to reverse the changes.
