Reports reaching us from Blokt blockchain and tech news outlet reveals what the former wall street executive, Mike Novogratz predicted about blockchain reaching a wide range of people all over the world. He(Mike) predicted that it would still take more 5-6 years for proper mass adoption to take place in the crypto industry.
Mike is the current CEO and founder of crypto investment firm, Galaxy Digital. However, he made this statement at a conference in South Korea. His prediction indicated that more institutions would join the industry in the next 2-3 years and when that happens, more people will become part of the crypto ecology. He added to his speech that the mass adoption of crypto and blockchain technology will not come earlier than in a half a decade. That is to say, within this time frame, people will not see blockchain technology as something new to the economy because they must have in one way or the other, felt it’s presence around them.
Novogratz added that the only thing preventing blockchain technology from reaching it’s maximum peak now, is the increasing “cost of technical talent”. The steps involved in participating in this new technology seems to be very technical and confusing for people, at some point.
This man, Novogratz is popularly known for his predictions that normally comes to pass. Just like how he predicted bitcoin last year to hit $10,000 by the end of 2017 but rather the price sky rocketed past his prediction to over $19,000. So let’s just hope this one comes to pass, the way he predicted it to be or maybe, the results be seen sooner than what he predicted.
